Our Easter Week

Hello April... you sure got here fast! Does anyone else feel like it should still be January? Either way, having Easter the first week of April makes for a fun week! Here's a quick peek at what we did:

We started our week with a super cute craftivity and writing from A Cupcake for the Teacher you can find it here.

We changed it up a little bit and used scrapbook paper instead of the pink paper. Here is how ours turned out. I was so excited when I kept hearing "May I please have more paper to write on?". What teacher doesn't love to hear their writer's say that??

What an excellent time to spice up our math time, too. We started with a Fraction Spring Peeps activity by Peggy Means, followed up by The Egg Hunt addition and subtraction game. You can find The Egg Hunt free in my Teachers Pay Teachers store by clicking {here}. I found those awesome see-through top easter eggs at Dollar Tree, 6 for $1! SCORE!

To wrap up the week, we painted with Jelly Beans. Yep, you read that right! When jelly beans are pushed down enough to break the outer shell, you can dip them in water and paint with them similar to water painting. Apparently, this activity made me "the best teacher ever".

What fun activities did you plan for your class this week?
