Top 3 Pinterest Picks for February

I am so excited to link up this month with Pawsitively Teaching, Just Reed and Inspired Owl's Corner to bring you top three favorite pins for the month of February.
To see all of my favorite February pins, check out my February Teaching Ideas board {here}.

I found this Love Monster craft last year and absolutely LOVED it! It was so much fun to make and the kids (yes, boys too) ate it up. Dollar Tree has heart shaped foam stickers that worked great. There are 100 hearts per bag for a steal at only $1 per bag! Best part? The template for this adorable little love monster is FREE! It would be a great addition to read with the new book Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

This pin was a new find for me this year! As STEM science projects are growing in popularity, I thought this would be a great addition to my lesson plans. I am planning on trying a few out as "Fun Friday" projects. What I absolutely love about this pin is that the experiments can be conducted with items that you can already find in your kitchen!

And for a little President's Day fun, I thought this would be a great photo prop for writing about our Mr. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. I have seen so many cute crafts to celebrate these two great presidents but what I love about this pin is that it would take minimal prep/creation time and I think my little ones would still have a lot of fun with it!
